The full-time Master of ScienceInternational Financeprogramme (MSc IF) enables you to attain an internationally recognized master degree within 3 semesters. By choosing our Double-Degree option as a Freemover you have the chance to earn 2 master degrees within 2 years.

FIBAA Accredited Program

Due to the optional study abroad component, as well as a syllabus covering a wide range of international issues and modern teaching methods, the programme has been accredited by the European accreditation agency ACQUIN. The programme focuses strongly on finance courses as well as on social skills such as communication, intercultural understanding, teamwork, and self-management.

Programme Outline

All students will spend the first two semesters at the HfWU Nuertingen-Geislingen University. For IFM students, it is optional to spend their 3rd semester either in Nuertingen or their 3rd and 4th semester as a Freemover at a university of their choice to receive a Double Degree.

• 1st Semester: Nuertingen, Germany - approx. from October to February
• 2nd Semester: Nuertingen, Germany - approx. from March to July

Option 2: Double Degree as Freemover (3rd + 4th semester)

Option 2: Double Degree as a Freemover

By choosing the Double Degree option, students spend their first two semesters at the HfWU in Nuertingen and then go abroad to study approx. an additional year at a university of their choice. After completion of the required coursework, students will be awarded the MSc International Finance degree from the HfWU Nuertingen-Geilsingen University, as well as a master degree from the university abroad.

How Do I Apply to the IFM Programme?

Please keep in mind:
the application portal for the IFM programme is open from March 1st until June 1st each year
Application Deadline: June 1st - for admission to the winter semester which starts towards the end of September/beginning of October each year. The deadline applies to all applicants (EU and Non-EU)
The programme only starts in the winter semester each year. A start in the summer semester is not possible
