Modern management is becoming ever more internationally oriented.

The M.Sc. European Management provides a unique intercultural study experience at leading European universities to prepare students for the demands of the European labor market.

Students in this program spend one year at the University of Tübingen and one year at the partner university of their choice. They are able to choose from a broad range of courses at both universities to tailor the contents of the program to their specific needs. Due to the international focus of the program, graduates are able to get into different working procedures in different countries efficiently and adopt beneficial practices employed in other cultures.

In addition to the M.Sc. in European Management, students are granted a Master’s degree from their chosen partner university. With this additional qualification, graduates have a wider range of employment possibilities in different countries and multinationally operating companies.

Our partner universities

  • EM Strasbourg (France)
  • Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (France)
  • Università degli Studi di Pavia (Italy)
  • University of Nottingham (England)

Curriculum

The program requires students to earn 60 ECTS credits at each institution, amounting to a total of 120 ECTS credits. Depending on where students complete their Master thesis, they choose two to three specializations from a broad range of options. They take modules out of the core, specialization and elective studies. Within the elective studies it is also possible to choose modules offered by other institutions and disciplines such as Sociology, Political Science or the Global Ethic Institute. The specializations in Tübingen are: Industrial Organization, International Business, Marketing, HRM and Organization, Banking, Finance, International Accounting, Auditing and Corporate Governance, Econometrics, International Business Taxation and Managerial Accounting.

The School of Business and Economics at the University of Tübingen is committed to high-level academic education in both business administration and economics. It features a faculty of 24 professors and about 45 junior researchers, all of whom are actively engaged in academic research. Our Bachelor and Master programs mirror the widely respected academic expertise of the faculty. Students benefit from courses taught at the frontier of academic research as well as from dedicated tutoring and learning in small groups with close contact to academic staff.

The School of Business and Economics offers three Bachelor of Science programs and ten different Master of Science programs that allow students to specialize in areas with promising career prospects.

EM Strasbourg Business School

The EM Strasbourg Business School is the only French institution to combine the advantages of a multidisciplinary academic center of excellence and those of a Business School. It is established in a network of companies, local authorities and consular sector actors. The University Center of Strasbourg, resulting from the merger of the three Strasbourg universities in 2009, is the largest university in France. Its Grande École program, in which the students of the Master in European Management take part, allows students to acquire broad and specialized knowledge adapted to the needs of tomorrow‘s decision-makers. Graduates are able to evolve in a globalized environment and to face the questions of sustainable development, ethics and diversity.

Università degli studi di Pavia

The School of Economics is heir to the original Italian schools of Commerce, which were founded in the second half of the 18th century, and subsequently transformed into the various faculties of Economics and Business. The constant burgeoning of world-wide markets, the rapid development of financial markets and the expansion of new information and communication technologies required increasingly diverse professional profiles from the faculty graduates. In order to fulfill these new demands, the faculty has adapted and diversified the training it offers, that is to say three Lauree Triennale and four Lauree Magistrale programs with three tracks in Digital Management, International Management and Sustainability to freely choose from.

Iaelyon School of Management

Located in the heart of Lyon, in the Part-Dieu Business District, Iaelyon - Université Jean Moulin is a University-based full service School of Management which offers a unique range of programs in a multi-cultural and international setting.
Each year, international students make up 15% of the student body at Iaelyon and have the opportunity to follow courses in English or in French. The School provides international students with specific services: a dedicated team to help them settle and assist them throughout their stay, academic advisors to guide them in their course selection, and an Internship and Career Center to support students in developing their professional project and finding internships or employments in France or abroad.
