Nowadays electronic equipments aren’t to spirit away from our environment any more. The increasing rapid development of high performance technology and the world’s progressive automation retrieve unexpected possibilities – both technically and job-relating. Take part in the investigation and design our future! The study program addresses graduates of studies like Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics or similar.

The master course Information Technology leads you into the world of for example transmission technology, image processing, high frequency, micro systems or robotics.

Important course targets:

  • Development of knowledge about the latest information and communication technology as well as its construction and programming 
  • Education to independent and scientific work
  • Practical education of a responsible and team oriented personality

Programme contents and structure

The world of information technology

The study course Information Technology is devided in three semesters where the students deepen their knowledge about the newest technology, their construction and programming.

Semester 1 deals with topics like information- and coding-theory, image processing, real-time processing as well as the essential mathematical methods.

Semester 2 leads you to independent scientific work by elaborating and taking part in different projects. Current projects we elaborate are digital television, mobile communication, satellite electronics and navigation (especially robotic applications).  Further issues that will be discussed are transmission technology and digital signal processing.

In both semesters you have to elect two additional subjects from an elective modules catalogue – from micro system technology over antennas, embedded systems high frequence technology to robotics and optical communication technologies and other.

In semester 3 you will complete your studies with the master thesis.

Duration of study and begin

The study course launches 1.april (summer semester) and 1. october (winter semester) and will take 18 months.

Future perspectives 

Your career prospects

After completion of the master course of studies you can accompany responsible tasks in the area of the technical development and system implementation. You acquire the abilities at the same time to manage systems, however, too. Due to your qualifications main emphasised on micro systems, high frequency and optical communication technology as well as circuits analogue software including robotics, you have various possibilities in setting the focus for personal career in a developing business.

You round off your flexible technical image by good linguistic proficiency. You are able to carry out technical projects in an international context in a globalised working world.

Take on business in sophisticated tasks in the sections development, implementation, support or management of computer based information systems. We give you the necessary specialized knowledge using practical projects as well as the specific funding of key skills in the leadership area. This study enables you to act in a future-oriented and expanding market.

  • Degree (Diploma or Bachelor) in study paths Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Control Engineering, Electronics or similar
  • Documentary proof of good English skills (Toefl-Test or similar) 

670 € per month + one-time registration fee of 650 €
