Study structure/content
The bachelor's programme comprises seven semesters and is characterised by a high level of practical relevance. Many modules regularly offer practical exercises additionally, ‘hands on’ projects in modern laboratories help to deepen the practical relevance.
The International Computer Science programme teaches the basics in the varying areas of computer science. Problem solving in different programming languages is taught as well as global software solutions. You will hone your computer science thinking skills, for example, through developing algorithms among other things. Also, during your course, you will develop your language skills in either German or Spanish. The practical study semester takes place during the 5th semester and a bachelor's thesis concludes the programme.

Admission to the programme
Academic admission requirements
The following are required for admission to the bachelor's degree programme in International Computer Science
In order to apply, the following documents are necessary:
- General university entrance qualification
- If your degree was achieved outside of Germany, include the uni-assist evaluation report VPD >
- Comparable international qualifications
- If your native language is not English, please provide a language certificate (see below)
Language requirements
Applicants whose native language is not English are required to provide evidence of sufficient English proficiency in spoken and written language using the certificates recognised by OTH Regensburg. At least "Level B1" should be demonstrated under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, however B2 is recommended in order to keep up with the tempo of the course.
Accepted certificates of English language proficiency are as follows:
- IELTS certificate
- TOEFL certificate
- Cambridge Certificate, level B1
- TELC, level B1
- Graduation certificate from a public or state-recognised high school in Germany
